MTV News announced Tuesday that it is airing a new episode of its popular comedy show “Parks, Recreation” to air this Wednesday at 9:30 p.g. on the MTV News Channel.
The episode, which was filmed in New York City in January, will be part of the MTV Video Music Awards and be available to stream on the channel.
“Passes” star Mike McHale plays Parks’ best friend, Leslie Knope, while “Pawn Stars” star Amy Poehler plays a fictional Parks employee named Pawnee, and former “Parenthood” star Andy Samberg plays a Parks producer.
“The episode will be a showcase of Parks’ most entertaining characters and stories, and it will give viewers a look into the world of ‘Parsons’ and its cast of characters, including the amazing Pawnees,” MTV News said in a statement.
